Tayasan Fiesta 2017 Celebration

The Tayasan Fiesta 2017 was made a successful celebration due to the well-organized activities set by the town officials and fellow planners. It was indeed a jolly week for both the Tayasanons (locals of Tayasan) and to their visitors.

Remarkable events during the Tayasan Fiesta

During the fiesta week, trade fairs and food booths flooded all corners of the Tayasan plaza. Locals would sing all night at the karaoke bars while some would listen to the live bands held at respective areas during the fiesta. It was indeed a merry-making time for locals and guests in Tayasan.

Of course, the celebration would be of bore if the celebration of Tayasan Festival was cancelled. The Tayasan Festival street dancing and showdown competition started at exactly the planned time (which is not common here in the Philippines). One would expect that the ‘Filipino time’ would always cause bad reputations to the celebration. It was good that organizers were really keen in doing their job.

Another glories event was the search for the Miss Tayasan 2017. It was a night where eight equally lovely candidates battled their way to win one crown and one title. Just like every beauty pageant the introduction, bikini/ sports-wear, gown and question and answer are the most essential parts of the competition.

The fiesta celebration was over all a blast! It was concluded with a fiesta-feast celebration, where Tayasanons and guests eat their way to end the Tayasan Fiesta 2017. A big heads up to the organizers, mayor and other officials, performers and of course the Tayasanons for making a great celebration. More will be expected for next year.
