For the first time in history, Philippines is the host for the global event called Man of the World. Similar to Miss World, the Man of the World is a competition showing divers culture and beauty a male person can have. Contestants come all over the world including from Europe and Asia.

The Man of the World Coronation Night will be held in the capital of the Philippines, Manila, this coming July 28, 2017. But before the main event, the competition is divided with several portions including the Traditional Attire competition and the Swimwear Competition. Luckily, Negros Oriental has been chosen as the host for this sector of the competition. Which will promote many tourism destinations here in Negros Oriental. (Apo Island, Manjuyod Sandbar, and etc.)

Traditional Attire Competition and Swimwear Competition

The Traditional Attire Competition was held in the Rizal Boulevard of Dumaguete City, capital of Negros Oriental, while the Swimwear Competition was held in Tanjay City. The Man of the World was held in the Tanjay City fiesta between the Miss Tanjay 2017 and the Sinulog sa Tanjay Festival 2017 celebration.

Surprisingly the event was to start at 7pm, however, things were kind off delayed for some reasons. But once the show started, all the 28 contestants walked the stage and owned it. Back stage pictures were strictly a big NO, especially to the contestants’ fans. Security from the National Police Association (NPA) were also on the watch.

The Swimwear Competition of the Man of the World had three rounds; which includes the short introduction, shorts round and finally swimwear round. The crowd went wild to see such gorgeous fit and well-maintained bodies.

In between the rounds, intermissions and show breaks were made while the contestants prepared themselves for each round. After all the rounds were made, it was time to announce the Top 5 Best in Swimwear for the Man of the World Competition. Congratulations to the Top 5: Egypt, Japan, Moldova, Philippines & Palestine.
